The 2.300 m2 office space of the building are usable by one to eight tenants, each with its own individual identity. The business area Gelderse Poort consists of 18 modern office buildings of varying sizes and is placed south of the Dutch city of Arnhem, with excelent connections to major highways as well as the city center.
The outer hull of the building consists mainly of glas, creating a high-tech character. The offices are spread over more that two levels, grouped around a central hub with elevator, stairs and toilet facilities. To bring direct light to this hall a skylight was introduced.
Working in the offices is pleasent, due to climate controlled rooms. The air conditioning unit makes use of underground water to cool the air, thus reducing necessary power input and making the building very energy efficient.
